• Do not pick up the device if it has fallen into water or any kind of fluid. Remove the plug from the power socket
immediately. Do not use the device again.
• Parts of the device can become hot. Do not touch these parts to avoid burning yourself.

Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the device is complete and undamaged.
If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the
packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.

First use
• Remove the device and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective film or plastic from the
device.
• Before you use the device for the first time, clean the base with a damp cloth and rinse all the removable parts
with soapy water.
• Thoroughly dry the base and all removable parts.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, a scouring sponge or steel wool; these damage the
device, fondue pot, grill plate and raclette pans.
• Place the device on a flat, stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• Fit the grill plate

onto the mounting brackets of the heating base

. Ensure that the grill plate is placed
horizontally and is secure. Then place the fondue pot

in such a way that the heating element is covered.
• When you want to use the device with the fondue pot

, place the fondue pot into the centre (round circle) of
the grill plate

and fit the fondue fork ring holder

on the fondue pot.
• Make sure that the thermostat knob

is set to the MIN position.
• Connect the device to the mains power.
Power ON/OFF
• When the device is connected to the mains power,
make sure that the thermostat knob
5
is set to the MIN position.
• When turning the thermostat knob clockwise, the LED light
(to the left of the thermostat knob) will light up in red.
• To switch off the device, make sure that the thermostat knob
5
is set to the MIN position, the LED light will no longer light up.
• Then remove the power plug from the mains power.
Cooking with grill plate
• Before each use, make sure the heating base

clean and dry, and that the grill plate is placed horizontally and is secure.
• Place the device on a flat, stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• Make sure that the thermostat knob 5 is set to the MIN position.
• Preheat the grill plate for ± 5 minutes by turning the thermostat knob
5
clockwise to the MAX position, the
LED light will light up in red. Make sure the fondue pot
3
is placed in the grill plate, in such a way that the
heating element is covered.
• Do not preheat the raclette pans.
• It is recommended to brush a layer of cooking oil on the grill plate.
• When using the raclette for the first time, a slight odour and smoke might occur, this is normal. The odour and
smoke will disappear after a few minutes.
• When the device has preheated, turn the thermostat knob to set the desired temperature.
• Add ingredients to the raclette pans and/or grill plate (see “Cooking foods”).
• Place the raclette pans onto the heating base under the grill plate, do not overfill the raclette pans.
