3.9.5. Installation of Quartz Fascia Pack (Eon Plus)
1. Unpack the contents of the Fascia Pack.
2. Remove the fascia retaining bracket by
removing the fixing screw (see
Figure
63
).
3. Separate the fascia from the mounting
frame by opening and sliding it off its
hinges as shown in
Figure 64
.
Place the
glass fascia somewhere safe to prevent
damage to it.
4. Remove all remaining packaging from
the mounting frame.
5. Offer the mounting frame up to the
appliance opening, taking note of the
locating tab projecting to the rear of the
mounting frame as shown in
Figure 65
.
6. Insert the locating tab (identified in the
step above) into the top of the appliance
opening. This facility has been designed
to assist in setting the correct height and
centralising the mounting frame.
7. Once the desired position is achieved
(level in all planes) mark the four hole
positions, set the frame aside, then drill
and plug the previously marked holes.
8. Having ensured all connections have
been completed, secure the mounting
frame to the appliance.
9. Re-hang the fascia at the hinges and
refit the fascia retaining bracket and
secure it with the screw.
10. Brace the fascia open and connect the
two gas springs into the appropriate
brackets. Secure with washers and wing
nuts (see
Figure 66
).
11. Check the operation of the fascia.
12. For Manual Control models, proceed to
Section 3.9.10
to commission the
appliance.
13. For other control options, proceed to
Section 3.9.6
to
3.9.8
