STEP 3
– Set two of the M8 bolts with flat washers through one of the two
MadStad brackets. On the other side put another flat washer and then a spacer on
each bolt. This setup will go in through the handlebar clamp and bolt down. The
complete picture of how the bolts, washers, spacers and clamp go together is
shown below:
STEP 4
– Take this the bracket-and-hardware assembly and bolt it down.
NOTE: Tighten the front bolt completely first, then tighten the back bolt to
factory specifications.
Do not move on to the second handlebar clamp until the
first one is bolted down, otherwise the bar will come loose and will rotate out of
place.
