Set the shutter speed dial
to “AUTO.”
To change the mode, turn the shutter
speed dial while depressing the dial
lock release button.
Set the aperture and shoot.
If you set the aperture with the lens’ aperture ring, the camera will automatically set
the shutter speed suited for it. In the viewfinder, the shutter speed automatically set
by the camera will turn on.
• Normally, set the aperture so that the shutter speed is set 1/60 sec. to 1/6000 sec.
• When the shutter speed is set to slower than 1/60 sec. it is recommended to use
the flash unit. If you are not using the flash unit, mount the camera on a tripod to
prevent camera shake.
