The Mad Catz Multi-Link cable allows Game Boy Color, Game Boy
Pocket and Game Boy to be connected together for multi-player
action.
CONNECTING GAME BOY TO GAME BOY POCKET OR
GAME BOY COLOR
1. Make sure the power to both Game Boys is off.
2. Plug the larger connector into the Game Boy.
3. Plug the smaller connector into the Game Boy Pocket or the Game Boy
Color.
4. Turn on both Game Boys.
5. Consult game manual for multi-player capabilities.
CONNECTING GAME BOY POCKET TO GAME BOY
COLOR
1. Make sure the power to both Game Boys is off.
2. Plug the smaller connector into the Game Boy Pocket or the Game
Boy Color.
3. Plug the other smaller connector into the Game Boy Pocket or
the Game Boy Color.
4. Turn on both Game Boys.
5. Consult game manual for multi-player capabilities.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: Three Game Boys are connected but only two will link.
Solution: Only two Game Boys are capable of linking together at the
same time.
Problem: Only one Game Boy is playing the game.
Solution: Make sure that both Game Boys have the same game in them.
Problem: The same game is in both Game Boys but they will not link.
Solution: Consult game manual to see if the game is link compatible.
Problem: Two of the same link-compatible games are in the Game
Boys but they will not link.
Solution: Make sure the connectors are plugged in securely.
CAUTION
• This product contains small parts that may cause choking if
swallowed. Not intended for children under 3 years of age.
• Route all cords so that they are not likely to be walked on or
tripped over. Make sure that cords are not placed in positions
or areas this cord around any part of anyone’s body.
• Do not allow children to play with cords.
• Use this unit only as intended.

WARRANTY
When you purchase from Mad Catz, you purchase quality. We put our
products through comprehensive tests to ensure the highest reliability
and compatibility. You will probably never encounter a problem with our
products, but if you should experience any difficulties, Mad Catz offers a
five (5) year replacement warranty on this product. Mad Catz warrants to
the original consumer purchaser that this product is free from defects in
either material or workmanship. If a defect covered by this warranty
occurs, Mad Catz, at its option, will repair or replace the product at no
charge. Mad Catz’ products are tested to withstand normal wear and
tear, but are not indestructible and can be damaged if misused. The Mad
Catz warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abusive use. This
warranty does not apply to products used for any industrial, professional
or commercial purpose. This warranty does not apply to products that
have been damaged by abuse, misuse, modification or tampering or by
any other cause not relating to either materials or workmanship. If a
replacement is necessary and your product is no longer available, a
comparable product may be substituted at Mad Catz’ sole discretion. The
Mad Catz limited lifetime warranty is available to North American
customers only, including Canada, Mexico and the United States

DÉPANNAGE
Problème : Trois consoles Game Boy sont raccordées ensemble mais

Solution : On ne peut raccorder ensemble que deux consoles Game
Boy à a fois.
Problème :
Un seul Game Boy joue le jeu.
Solution : Vérifier que les deux consoles Game Boy sont chargées
avec le même jeu.
Problème : Les deux consoles Game Boy sont chargées avec le
même jeu mais elles ne communiquent pas.
Solution : Consulter le manuel du jeu pour vérifier si le jeu est
compatible pour les communications.
Problème : Deux jeux identiques et compatibles pour les
communications sont chargés dans chacune des
consoles Game Boy mais il n’y a pas de communication.
Solution : Vérifier que le connecteurs sont correctement enfichés.
De même, vérifier dans le manuel du jeu les instructions
concernant les possibilités spécifiques de liaisons.

FEHLERBEHEBUNG
Problem: Es sind drei Game Boys angeschlossen, aber nur zwei
lassen sich verbinden.
Lösung: Es können nur zwei Game Boys gleichzeitig verbunden werden.
Problem: Nur ein Game Boy spielt das Spiel.
Lösung: Stellen Sie sicher, daß sich das gleiche Spiel in beiden
Game Boys befindet.
Problem: Das gleiche Spiel ist in beiden Game Boys, aber sie
lassen sich nicht verbinden.
Lösung: Beziehen Sie sich auf die Anleitung des Spieles, um zu
überprüfen, ob diese beiden Spiele verbunden werden können.
Problem: Zwei Spiele die kompatibel sind und die verbunden
werden können, sind in die Game Boys eingelegt, lassen
sich jedoch nicht verbinden.
Lösung: Stellen Sie sicher, daß die Stecker sicher eingesteckt
sind. Zur Kompatibilität der spezifischen Verbindungen,

• Stecker nicht mit Gewalt in die Game Boys eingeben.
• Von hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und extremer Wärme fernhalten.
• Das Verlängerungskabel nicht in Steckdosen einstecken.
• Das Verlängerungskabel darf in den Mund stecken.
• Nur für Kinder ab 8 Jahren, oder älter, geeignet.

Soluzione: accertarsi che lo stesso gioco sia stato inserito in
entrambi i Game Boy.
Problema: lo stesso gioco è stato inserito in entrambi i Game Boy
ma i due non comunicano.
Soluzione: accertarsi che i connettori siano stati inseriti in modo
sicuro. Riferirsi anche al manuale del gioco per
controllare eventuali istruzioni di collegamento specifiche.
Problema: due giochi uguali compatibili con il collegamento sono
stati inseriti nei Game Boy ma non comunicano tra loro.
Soluzione: accertarsi che i connettori siano stati inseriti in modo
