If a newer version of firmware is available in the NPU you will be prompted to update when connected to the DVP-
120C.

NOTE

: Macurco NPU cannot use to upload DVP-120 firmware.

Figure 5-4 shows the screen of NPU software when a device is connected. As shown in the Figure, it displays the
device name with device configuration version under it. Fields greyed out are read-only. Only protocol available as
of now is BACnet MS/TP Server.

Address - The address of the device in the network.

Default baud rate - 38400 bit/sec.

APDU Timeout - The time in milliseconds that the driver will wait for a response from a device after sending a
request.

Number of APDU Retries - The number of times the driver will retry a request when a response is not received.

Device Name - the description assigned to the device. The device name must be unique across entire BACnet
network and must be between 1 and 16 characters in length.
