9. Enter sediment
The Enter sediment menu only shows urine chemistry results for
which an additional entry of sediment findings is necessary. You
can determine freely, which results need to receive additional
sediment findings as well as the actual sediment parameters
(see Sediment options, chapter 8.4.) .
Note: To add sediment parameters, you have to activate the En -
ter sediment function and define sediment parameters first.

. A new screen appears which
shows the results of samples that still need additional sediment
findings. You can set the filter for these results under sediment
settings (see Sediment options, chapter 8.4.) . Multiple options
for the samples are available.

Note: The sediment filter only sieves results that were measured
after the filter has been set and activated. Already existing results
will not be filtered afterwards.
9.1. Microscope
To enter sediment findings for the displayed result, press the
activity button . A new screen appears, in which you can
choose from a list of sediment parameters on the left side of the
screen (see Sediment options, chapter 8.4.) .

Choose your desired sediment parameter with the
scroll-arrows and confirm your selection with the activity-
button

. Alternatively, you can directly press the sediment
parameter.
As soon as you have chosen one sediment parameter, a list with
the sediment parameter’s gradation appears. Press the respec-
tive gradation, which is then inserted in the upper right of the
screen. You can enter more sediment information for the result
in the same way.

To delete sediment parameters you have already chosen, press
the respective parameter from the list on the left side of the
screen. Press the activity-button
Clear
, which will remove the
parameter from the result’s sediment findings.
Press to confirm and save your changes. The result
is processed depending on the settings (printed, sent) and re -
moved from the the enter sediment list. If you leave the menu by
pressing , none of your choices will be adopted.
To get to the next result, use the browse-arrows
at the
bottom right of the screen.
9.2. Print
Press the printer icon to print the result in the display. Thus, you
can print results that already have been printed for a second
time.
