2. Lift axle (A) and channel/spring subassembly (B), and
position lower end of subassembly (B) into leg.
3. Position lower end of subassembly (B) on bolts (C).
4. Slide subassembly (B) into leg.
5. Fasten subassembly to leg at (C) with four flange
nuts (MD #30228).

6. Attach top of channel/spring subassembly and bottom of
cradle assembly (A) to leg with two 3/8 NC x 3/4 in.
carriage bolts (B) and smooth face lock nuts (MD #30228) in
right side of leg, and two 3/8 NC x 1 in. carriage bolts
(MD #100456) and smooth face lock nuts (MD #30228) in
left side of leg. Install bolts from inside leg.
7. Finish attaching cradle assembly using one 1/2 NC x 1 in.
Torx
® head machine screw (MD #105136) and flanged
smooth-faced lock nut (C) (MD #50186).
8. Tighten all hardware except bolts in left side of leg.

9. Pull handle (A) to release the spring and position linkage in
fourth slot (B) from the top. Lower handle to lock.
