MACHINE DESCRIPTION
Tamper is an innovation designed to streamline espresso production. With the movement of a mechanical lever the
tamper automatically applies an even end level pressure to the coffee in the filter-holder of an espresso coffee machine.
The result is a predictable and consistent extraction from the espresso machine. The benefits are better, quality
product, and simplified employee training and education.
CPS TWIST
This CPS version progressively presses ground coffee, effecting a 30° rotation as it descends and levelling the coffee in the filter
holder as it goes back to its initial position.
The ground coffee is pressed by a Teflon support that avoids the accumulation of ground coffee residues on the tamper’s
surface area.
APPLYING CPS AND CPS TWIST ON INSTANT COFFEE GRINDER/DISPENSERS AND COFFEE GRINDERS
The 2 CPS versions can be integrated to our instant coffee grinder/dispensers and coffee grinders to reap all the benefits on a
single appliance.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the appliance, carefully read the following instructions.
This unit has been designed for professional use only and hence must only be used by trained personal familiar with its operations.

SAFETY INFORMATION
This appliance has been designed exclusively to press ground coffee. The manufacturer shall not be considered liable for any
damage or accidents if products other than coffee are pressed.
The warranty will be automatically invalidated in the event the appliance is used improperly.
Only qualified operators must install the appliance or carry out any technical maintenance work.
The appliance is not waterproof and must be kept well clear of any potential water sprays or very damp areas.
The appliance has been designed for professional and not home use, and therefore must only be used by trained personnel. The
appliance must not be used by children, or by adults with reduced physical, mental or motor capacities, nor by anyone without suf-
ficient experience or knowledge, unless they receive specific training or use the appliance under the supervision of a trained person.
Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.
MACHINE USE
Place the machine on a proper surface near the espresso grinder. Place the filter-holder with the proper amount of ground
coffee (single or double) on the fork of the unit.
Operate the lever to allow the pressing unit to gently go down on the coffee. It is mandatory to do this operation without
placing anything between the tamper and the filter holder.
Pull down the lever until the inside parts are released (this means that the coffee has been pressed).
Move the lever back to its initial position.
Each dose of coffee has to be pressed one time only.
