Thanks to have bought HydroController! We would like to give you some useful information in
order to project in a correct way the system in which you’ll use our HydroController
1. Long Connection Adapter (LCA):
as for all the lift units with speed driver controller
(inverter) also our HydroController show some collateral effects if they are used, for
connecting electro pump with HydroController, with very long cable.
We can estimate, in a very cautious way, that we have a correct behaviour with cable shorter
than 3 mt. In fact using cable with parallel wiring it is possible to use cables till 20mt.
The connection cable creates , between HydroController and electropump, a capacitive effect
that changes the HydroController way of piloting for electropump.
So that depending of which cable is used the malfunctioning changes.
For removing the disturbance Mac3 produces an adapter for long connection, till 80 mt of
cable.
This device is a box that must be simply installed together HydroController. The LCA not only
remove the disturbance but also increases life time of electropump and connection cable.
2.How to choose electropump:
to take advantage of performance of HydroController it is
essential to choose the correct electropump.
The inverter pilots the electropump on several frequencies depending on the variation of flow.
This is why it is possible to save energy and to increase life time of the electropump.
For having correct behaviours it is essential to choose an electropump with slope characteristic
curve, usually multiimpeller pumps; this kind of electropump permits the HydroController to
pilots electropump at variables speed.
For better understanding the parameters that must be evaluated are:
Head
: the pressure head in centre curve must be equal to the pressure set for the plant.
Capacity
: the capacity of the electropump in centre curve must be equal to the capacity
requested for the plant.
3. protection from pressure shocks
. You must project correctly the hydraulic connection of
Hydrocontroller to avoid pressure shocks.
The shock absorber, installed to avoid pressure shocks, must be keep under a correct
maintenance.
WARNING! Hydrocontroller is an electric device, if the case will be damage by pressure shocks
a possible water infiltration could be dangerous due to the contact between electric
components and the water flow.
