Charging the electrical starter battery
The integrated battery (10) for this product has been shipped in a low charge condition.
WARNING!
Always charge in a safe location away from moisture or heat
sources! Always charge the integrated battery indoors, as the charger is
designed to be used indoors only.
1. Remove the protective cap from the battery charging port (21) (Fig. 10).
2. Connect the charger plug to the battery charging port (21) (Fig. 11).
3. Connect the charger (34) to a suitable socket-outlet. The battery charger level
indicator (10) turns on to show it is charging.
4. Charge the battery (10) for approx. 5 hours. The battery charger level indicator
(10) turns off when battery is fully charged.

Engine oil
WARNING!
This product is not supplied with oil. However, for manufacturing
reasons, it is possible that a small quantity may be in the engine! Before
SAE 10W-30)!

be used - see the separate operator’s manual of the BRIGGS&STRATTON
