Storage

NOTE:

 Good storage conditions are important for keeping your product 

trouble-free.

1.  Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug connector (15).
2.  Clean the product as described in the “Cleaning” section.
3.  Loosen the side levers (8). Unlock the lower handle bar lock (23) and fold the lower 

(5) and the upper handle bars (4).

4.  Store the product and its accessories in a well-ventilated dry storage area.
5.  Always store the product in a place that is inaccessible to children. The ideal 

storage temperature is between 10 °C and 30 °C.

6.  We recommend using the original package for storage or covering the product 

with a suitable cover or enclosure to protect it against dust.

7.  For long-term storage (more than 5 days), drain the fuel tank as described in 

operator’s manual of the BRIGGS&STRATTON engine (35).

Transportation

1.  Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug connector (15).
2.  Adjust the height to the highest position as described in the “Cutting height 

adjustment” section.

3.  Attach transportation guards, if applicable.
4.  Always move the product by the handle (1).
5.  If a suitable loading ramp is not available, ask another person for assistance when 

loading the product on a vehicle.

6.  Protect the product from any heavy impacts or strong vibrations which may occur 

during transportation in vehicles.

7.  Secure the product with tie-down straps to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
