AFTER BIKING CARE
Clean your chain regularly with a dry lint-free cloth. First, apply a drop of chain oil to
each joint of the chain. Leave it for a while then remove excess oil with the cloth.
Care instructions:
Regular cleaning of all components with a light water jet or a soft, wet sponge.
WARNING!
Use of high-pressure cleaners can cause damage to seals and bearings.
Lubricate chain after each cleaning. Do not immerse in grease-dissolv-
ing cleaning agent. Make sure that no oil drips onto the brake discs
It is best to clean your frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any aggres-
sive cleaning agents! These can damage the paint and the carbon frame.
WARNING!
To avoid risk of injury always carry out maintenance work with the
system switched off!
MAINTENANCE OF THE DRIVE COMPONENTS
Maintenance work may only be carried out by an authorized M1 specialist dealer.
When used properly and carefully, the electric drive does not require any mainte-
nance. However, you should have a safety inspection performed by an authorized
M1 dealer every 1,000 km or at least 1x per year. This checks the fastenings of ca-
bles and parts, the functionality of the electrical system and the operational safety
of the battery.
