I have a claim. What's the procedure?
In the event of a claim - regardless of the component - your authorized M1
dealer is the central contact. They register the damage and contacts M1 to dis-
cuss the next steps. The specialist dealer also takes care of further coordination,
such as scheduling and the actual repair. When purchasing an M1, a contract
has been established between the customer & the specialist dealer. In case of
warranty or guarantee claims as well as all other service questions, this dealer
(seller) is therefore the contact person.
However, if you use a dealer other than the original seller of the bike to file a
claim, this may result in additional costs, though these are not covered by M1.
Therefore, we strongly recommend to clarify all issues with the seller. The same
applies to online purchases. The sale of spare parts, accessories and bikes is car-
ried out via the specialized trade.
