3 - INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - GENERAL
This hood has been constructed for built-in arrangements.
It can be used on the ASPIRATING types (external exhaust), or on the FILTERING types
(internal recycling).
Due to the complex features of the appliance, installing is to be carried out by
specialised personnel, in compliance with the current regulations and especially the
ones regarding air exhaust. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage
resulting from improper or installation that has not been carried out in accordance
with the state of the art.
3.2 - SAFETY
A - Do not connect the appliance to ducts of smoke exhaust that are not supplied with
electrical power.
B - The minimum safety distance between the cooking counter and the hood is 65 cm.
C - Arrange proper ventilation if other appliances besides the hood, which are not sup-
plied by electrical power, are being used in the same room. Proper use without risks
is obtained when the maximum depression of the room does not exceed 0,04 mbar;
this will avoid exhaust gas return.
