Embedder
The SDI output of the C MX 5710 has an embedder stage which can be used to
embed the external audio inputs into the SDI output.
The outputs of the AES processing stage
are the sources for the embedder. Any one
of these sources can be routed to any of the
embedding channels.
To turn off any of the four group embedders,
simply click the “emb” button just above the
audio signal path going into the embedder
stage.
Embedding audio into an HD-SDI output stream will always be done in 24bit
resolution. When embedding into SD-SDI, 24bit embedding is activated by
default, but can be de-activated (reducing the embedding to 20bit). This may be
required to satisfy some non-standard-compliant SDI deembedder.
