Connect Power Cable

VX4 User’s Guide

Connect Power Cable

Turn the VX4 off before attaching the power plug.

Connect the power cable to vehicle power (See the following section titled
“Vehicle 12-60VDC Direct Connection.”)

- or -

to an AC adapter. (See the following section titled “External Power Supply.”).

Connect power by inserting the power plug into the power connector on the
bottom of the VX4.

Both the plug and receptacle are keyed and care must be used when connecting
the power cable. Tighten the nut of the power plug clockwise until tight.

Secure the cable with the strain relief cable clamps, ensuring a slack loop
remains between the cable clamp and the connector.
