Quick Start - Powered Vehicle Cradle

MX7 Cradle Reference Guide

E-EQ-MX7DKRG-C

Quick Start - Powered Vehicle Cradle

1.

Attach the RAM bracket mounting device to the vehicle.

2.

Attach the MX7 vehicle cradle to the RAM bracket.

3.

Attach a tethered scanner connector to the serial port on the back of the cradle, if required.
Tethered scanners must be connected to powered vehicle cradles.

4.

Attach the DC/DC or 12VDC power connector from the vehicle mounted power supply to the
Power port on the back of the cradle.

5.

Secure all cables to the vehicle cradle using the cable clamps.

6.

The Vehicle Mount cradle is ready for use.

later in this guide.
