Wireless Profi les:

 This page allows confi guration of up to 8 Wireless Network 

SSID’s:

 

 Operating Mode:

 Sets the Operating Mode of the Access Point the available 

options are;

 

Access Point: Allows client devices to connect (default mode)

 

Client: Allows the AP to connect to an existing network as a client device 

 

Bridge Root: Sets the AP into Bridge Root mode allowing Bridge Clients to 
connect (regular client devices cannot connect to this mode)

 

Bridge Client: Sets the AP into Bridge Client mode allowing it to connect to a 
Bridge Root (regular client devices cannot connect to this mode)

 

Network Name (SSID):

 Sets the name of the Wireless Network. If the SSID is not 

set on a profi le, the name of the network will not be broadcast. 

 

NOTE:

  Profi le 1 is set during Quick Setup 

 

SSID Broadcast: 

This gives you the option to hid the Network Name only allow-

ing devices that already have the profi le saved to see and connect to the AP.

 

Security Mode:

 Sets the wireless security encryption mode.

 

Encryption:

 This fi eld only shows while in WPA mode. It is used to select the 

encryption method WPA will use (default is TKIP & AES).

 

WEP Key:

 This fi eld only shows while in WEP mode. Allows the input of a 128 bit 

WEP key.

 

WPA Passphrase:

 Sets the passphrase for wireless network access.
