03. How to Use MODI

Plug & Play Module Features

On & Off for basic actions

On if the button is pressed, Off if the button is not

Controls the values for basic actions

The left end is 0% and the right end is 100%

Controls the values for basic actions

The values correspond to the volume measured

If  the  connected  Output  module  utilizes  only  1    value,  the  average  value  of  the  X,  Y,  and  Z-axis
angles is used

If the connected Output module utilizes 3 values, the angles of the X, Y, and Z axes match the three values of the Output module

If there is 1 Output value, the average value of the temperature, humidity, and illuminance values is used

If there are 3 Output values, the temperature, humidity, and illuminance values
match the 3 Output module values

Controls the values for basic actions

100% if an object is located in the closest location within the measurable range, 0% if out of range

Measures the perpendicular distance between the sensor and an object

The IR sensor’s measurable range is between 0 and 30cm

Controls the values for basic actions

0% if an object is located in the closest location within the measurable range, 100% if out of range

Measures the perpendicular distance between the sensor and an object

The ultrasonic sensor’s measurable range is between 40cm and 450cm

Module

Features

Rotates the motor in speed in accordance with the Input module's detected value.

Provides power to connected modules

If the connected Input module gives 1 value, the given value controls the brightness of the white light.

If the connected Input module gives 3 values, each value controls the brightness of the Red, Green and Blue lights respectively.

Gives out sound in volume level that corresponds to the connected Input module's value.

Sound produced at “6th octave mi”

Wireless communication available between a pair of network modules

A network module that is receiving power can provide power to other connected modules

If only one Input module is connected, it displays such Input module's  information on the whole screen

Displays intuitive information about Input modules’ actions on the screen

If two or more Input modules are connected, information for up to three modules are displayed, one by one, by row
