Check the LED status lights of the modules to see if they are receiving a steady power supply.
Check again after connecting the modules to MODI Studio and resetting them.

You can connect up to four Input modules to one Output module. The number of modules
which can be connected varies depending on the number of connection sides available, and vice versa.

You cannot play MP3s with it, as the Speaker module can support limited range of frequencies.
