C. WARNINGS AND NOTES
Under no circumstances should people or animals be in the room during UVC disinfection mode. UVC radiation
is harmful to living tissues and can cause reddening and burning of the skin, which can lead to serious skin
diseases and can also damage the eyes. It is also advisable to temporarily remove all vegetation from the room
when the disinfection mode is planned for an extended period.
Operation of the disinfection mode is recommended only for trained personnel. The mobile device with the
app installed and configured for the installed system must be protected from access by children. The
LUMENMAX ANNIHILATOR system offers the following safety features for UVC disinfection mode:
•
Securing access to the control with a code (device serial number) prevents unauthorised control of the
system by a person with a mobile device running ANNIHILATOR LUMENMAX software.
•
Editable delay time for the start of the UVC disinfection mode, allowing the operator and bystanders to
leave the room safely.
•
Warning signal emitted from each individual luminaire during UVC disinfection mode activation and
duration (with adjustable volume).
•
UVA indicator light emitting violet light during disinfection mode.
•
There is no risk of UVC disinfection mode being activated by the wall switch, at the same time the wall
light switch is an emergency radiation switch - if pressed during UVC disinfection mode, the luminaires
will immediately switch to lighting mode.
•
Compatibility with motion detectors that automatically disconnect the UVC disinfection mode.
It is recommended that for each room where ANNIHILATOR LUMENMAX luminaires are installed, there should
be at least one motion detector per zone - device group (the maximum number of luminaires per group is 1O
pcs). The detector must be installed at each entrance to the room in order to effectively signal the appearance
of movement. The devices are compatible with all wired PIR detectors with a power supply voltage of 12V DC,
as well as with the dedicated LUMENMAX WIFI ANNIHILATOR wireless detectors (to be purchased separately).
Installation and connection of the luminaire must only be carried out by qualified personnel who are
authorised to do so.
