E. Cut the plastic tie wraps holding the coupling faces together. Slide the shaft coupler and the
transmission coupler together,
do not install bolts at this time.
Look at the cutless bearing
(figure #16), and the shaft log, (figure #15), check to see if the shaft is sitting in the center.
