Configuring for ATM
Transmission via SDSL on the CellPipe SDSU requires you to configure the WAN
interface to run either ATM or Frame Relay datalink protocol.
To configure for ATM, proceed as follows:

Configuring PVCs
When running ATM as your data link protocol, you need to configure each PVC
connection you use. You can have up to seven PVC connections with each PVC
establishing a port.
To configure a PVC port, proceed as follows:

Configure Interface

Add new PVC

Enter VPI/VCI for each port you want to configure.

RFC 1483 (with LLC Encapsulation)
for ATM encapsulation.
Payload scrambling
You must enable payload scrambling when using ATM datalink protocol to connect to
a digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM), which usually has payload
scrambling set as default.
