EIGHING
The weighing system is a load indicator designed to check the ration of feed mixed
in LUCAS G. machines. It cannot, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be used as a
weighing system for commercial transactions.
2.7.1. Overview
The system is comprised of three sensors (one on each wheel spindle and one on the
coupler). These sensors relay weight information to the weighing unit. The weighing unit
system is configured to display weights in kilograms.
2.7.2. Bracket
The weighing unit is fitted to a bracket, which allows you to:
. Height (m)
. Depth
. Rotate the support (R.S) with three-position
indexing (centre, left and right)
. Rotate the box (RB)
. Tilt the box (T)
During initial coupling, or when changing tractor, use
all of the adjustments in order to make sure the box is
in the best possible position.
2.7.3. Machine configuration
In order for the weighing system to work:
. The machine must be coupled to the tractor (the machine must not rest on the
stand)
. The weighing light must be lit
To ensure an accurate weight, it is recommended that the machine be positioned on a
flat surface and that you avoid any high speeds or excessive jolts or bumps.
Remark
:
For optimum weighing, the machine must be horizontal. You must check to make sure
the machine is horizontal when it is coupled to the tractor. This may require you to
adjust the coupling height (see chap 1.3).
2.7.4. Operation
All the information concerning the use of the weighing unit is given in the weighing unit
instructions manual.
This manual is supplied with the machine.
