Do not use Teflon tape and thread sealant simultaneously.

Install sprinkler head after sprinkler head adapter has been
solvent welded. Make sure the waterway is not obstructed.
Then install the sprinkler head.
‣
Allow for movement due to expansion and contraction,
particularly if installing in cold weather.
Using Ratchet Cutters
‣
Use ratchet cutters only at 50°F (10
˚
C) or higher.
‣
Make sure blades are sharp.
