through the side (or bottom) washout hole (see the diagram of the boiler construction).
During cleaning of the exchanger the state of the flue should be carefully checked. The thorough cleaning of the boiler
should be performed every 30 up to 60 days, depending on the type of fuel and the degree of dirt on the boiler’s surface.
After cleaning process the washout holes should be closed.
At least twice in the heating season the feeder tube should be cleaned. In order to do this, the boiler should be
extinguished, and fuel removed. Feeding screw and cast iron elements of the furnace should also be removed. Then the
coal dust, coal fines, and all other substances in the feeding tube and in the cast iron turn of the furnace should also be
removed. This action should be performed with particular caution.
5.4. SAFE MAINTENANCE CONDITIONS
5.4.1 TO OPERATE THE BOILER SAFELY, THE USER SHOULD OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES:
- the boiler can be operated only by adults; the operation and maintenance manual should be read before proceeding
to the operation of the boiler,
- children should be kept at a distance from the boiler,
- the user should under no circumstances put the hands into the boiler – it can result in injury,
- the boiler and the whole system connected with it should be kept in a proper technical condition; the leak-tightness of
the central heating system and the tightness of the doors and of the bunker is of special importance,
- the boiler room should be clean, free from any unnecessary objects that are not connected with the operation of the
boiler,
- in the winter season there should be no breaks in heating so that the water in the whole heating system or in the part
of it would not freeze,
- ignition of the boiler with the use of petrol, kerosene, or solvents is forbidden, as it may cause an explosion or skin
burns,
- in the case of failure of the heating system and the lack of water in the boiler, the boiler should not be refilled with
water when it is much heated, as it can result in damage,
- all the defects of the boiler should be immediately repaired,
- only the fuel recommended by the Manufacturer should be used,
- the user should not try to fix themselves the electronic elements,
- it is recommended to operate the boiler in protecting gloves,
- cleaning the boiler of soot and ash should be done during the boiler’s stoppage,
- during the cleaning of the boiler the boiler room should be well ventilated,
- it should be remembered that during the work of the boiler some of its elements (for example the doors) will be
heated.
5.4.2 In order to keep the boiler in a proper technical state, the owner should:
-systematically clean the boiler and the fan according to the Manufacturer’s instructions.
-every year at the end of the heating season examine the boiler, remove the ash, slag, and other waste. The boiler should
be carefully cleaned of soot, tar deposits and other waste. The flue should also be cleaned.
6. DELIVERY AND STORAGE
For selling purposes the boilers are delivered assembled (exchanger with the fuel bunker), together with the operation
and maintenance manual, with the control system and fan manuals, and with warranty forms. The Warranty Form
is necessary to obtain warranty. Buying the boiler, the Customer should ask the seller for warranty forms and the
manuals of:
