White balance: Adjustment to compensate for different environments in terms of light source.
Exposure: Anti-flicker setting for image sensor to fit the frequency of light (power) source. For instance, the
power frequency is 50Hz for most European countries, while 60Hz is typically for US. This setting is therefore
regionally different. Note: Default setting is 50Hz
Max Exposure Time: Referring to the shutter speed.
Max Gain Control: The maximum amplification factor for the incoming light. Similar to the photographic
theories, in case of environment of dim light, increase it for optimal result if necessary. On the contrary, turn it
down for environments of stronger light if necessary. Usually the users may leave it at max setting without the
need to change for best results.
IR-Cut Filter (Enable=IR off, Disable=IR on): During the day time with sufficient light, the IR-Cut filter will be
enabled to cover the lens so as to prevent the Infrared from coming in, therefore the image color will not turn
red. During the night time or when the illumination has gone below the setting lux value, this IR-Cut Filter will
be disabled (moved away from the lens), and the IR light will be turned on as supplementary light source. The
users may adjust this on/off setting to manually control the IR light.
Light Sensor Day / Night Threshold: Adjustment for fine-tuning how dark to turn on the IR lights. The lower
the setting, the darker it has to be to turn on the lights.
Back Light Compensation: Option for automatically making compensation for back light.
