Memory Backup
This unit incorporates a battery back up circuit that will
keep the clock running in the event of a temporary power
interruption. The clock will not be displayed.
Insert 2 X AAA batteries (not included) into the battery
compartment located at the bottom of the unit.
For best results, replace with fresh batteries every 9 to 12
months.
Handling the Battery
• Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion or battery leakage,
which could cause fire, personal injury or damage to property.
• Install the battery correctly by following the polarity (+ and -) indications in the
battery compartment.
• Only use the battery type indicated in this manual.
• Do not install new batteries with used ones and do not mix different types of
batteries.
• Do not dispose of the used batteries as domestic waste. Dispose of them in
accordance with local regulations.
• If you are not going to use the unit for a long time, remove the batteries to avoid
damage from battery leakage and corrosion.

Mains Power
Before using, connect the power cable of the supplied mains adapter (included) to
the DC 5.9V socket at the rear of the unit and to the mains socket.
