Select the Wind Display Mode

While in normal operating mode, press the WIND button to switch between the average wind speed 

measurement, gust wind speed measurement, and BFT measurement.

•  AVERAGE: The AVERAGE wind speed will display the average of all wind speed numbers recorded in 

the previous 12 seconds.

•  GUST: The GUST wind speed will display the highest wind speed recorded from the last reading.
•  BFT: The Beaufort scale of current wind speed will be displayed.

Set the Wind Speed Units

1. 

While in normal operating mode, press and hold the WIND button for two (2) seconds to enter the 

wind speed unit setting mode. 

2.  Press the UP or DOWN button to cycle through the wind speed units in the following order: mph > 

m/s > km/h > knots.

3. 

Press the WIND button to confirm and return to normal display mode. 

4.  Press the WIND button while in normal operating mode to enter wind direction display mode.
5.  Press the UP or DOWN button to toggle between 360 degrees or 16 direction mode.
6. 

Press WIND button again to confirm and exit settings.

The wind speed level chart on display provides a quick reference on the current wind condition.
