Location:
Hook end rotor bearing (2).
Interval:
Every 8 hours of operation.
Overhung Load Adapter

NOTE:
The overhung load adapter requires synthetic
grease NLGI #1, or NLGI #2.
Location:
Overhung load adapter zerks (1 and 2).
Interval:
Five pumps of grease per zerk for every 500
hours of operation.
Remove the motor cover on the top of the
shredder to access the grease zerks. See
“Removing Top Motor Cover” on page 19
for removal instructions.
Maintenance
Removing Belt Cover and Access
Covers
DANGER:
Shut down and lock out power
from the excavator before removing the belt
cover or access covers. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury or death.

To remove the belt cover (1), unscrew the thirteen bolts
(2) and lift the cover off of the frame.
CAUTION:
The belt cover is heavy. Support
the cover when removing.
To remove the access covers (3), unscrew the 4 bolts (4)
on each cover.
When maintenance/repairs are complete, return the
covers back into position and tighten and secure all bolts.
