9. TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAYS
The display should look similar to that shown below.

The touch sensitive screen displays six keys in its standard mode of operation.
Labelled from left to right, on the top row is SELECT, , , DISPLAY with ESCAPE
and ADC on the bottom row. Pressing the ADC key will launch the ADC screen,
described in the ‘ADC Screen’ section of this manual. Pressing the ESCAPE key will
cause the current state to revert back to the initial bargraph screen.
Touching the DISPLAY key is equivalent to simultaneously pressing the SELECT
and
keys on the standard (non touch screen) keypad, and will show the
engineering displays.
The dotted buttons show the contrast controls that are only available on metal
detectors equipped with LCD displays. Pressing the
[

] button decreases the
display contrast and pressing [
Ï
q
] increases the contrast.
