MENU SET G: ANTI-CYCLING
16.6.1
ANTI-CYCLING TIME
Once a CH demand is complete, a set amount of time must pass before the control will respond to a new demand.
This time period can only be overridden if the differential temperature becomes too great (see next item).
The time range of this parameter can be adjusted between 0 and 40 minutes using the
Up
and
Down
buttons. Once
the desired time period has been set, the
Enter/Reset
button should be pressed to store the value. The default time
delay is 1 minute.
16.6.2
TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIAL FOR ENDING ANTI-CYCLING
The control will bypass the anti-cycling time if the differential between setpoint temperature and inlet temperature
becomes too great.
The anti-cycling differential temperature can be adjusted in ½
increments using the
Up
or
Down
buttons and the
desired value stored by pressing the
Enter/Reset
button. The temperature range of this parameter is 0
C to 30
C.
The default value is 5.5
C.
16.6.3
RAMP DELAY ON/OFF
When the ramp delay on/off parameter is active, the ramp delay limits the boiler firing rate when a CH cycle has
started. There are six (6) limiting steps used to limit temperature overshoot and short cycles. This feature can be
turned on or off depending on the installation.
The control range of this parameter is as follows:
0 = Off
1 = Ramp Up Only
2 = Ramp Up and Ramp Down.
The default value is 0.
When ramp delay is active, additional parameters for ramp delay operation will have to be adjusted. These can only
be accessed by the optional PC software.

MENU SET H CONTROL MODES
16.7.1
CH CONTROLLING SENSOR
The CH controlling sensor parameter selects the sensor the control will use to regulate the boiler firing rate. The
sensor selections are as follows:
2 = Outlet
4 = Inlet
Outlet:
The outlet sensor regulates the firing rate based on the outlet water temperature of the boiler. If the outlet
sensor is selected, and the optional system supply sensor is connected, the control will regulate the firing rate based
on the system supply sensor temperature.
Inlet:
The inlet sensor regulates the firing rate based on the inlet water temperature of the boiler.
The default sensor is the Outlet Sensor.
16.7.2
CONTROL SOURCE
The control source parameter selects the method used to control the modulation of the boiler. By using the
Up
and
Down
buttons and then pressing the
Enter/Reset
button, one of the following control modes can be selected:
