Position the lamp so that it is protected from
moisture and dirt.
Never leave the light unattended whilst in oper-
ation. Excessive heat can result in a fire.
Only use the light bulb indicated.
Do not look directly into the light source (light
bulb, LED etc.).
This lamp is not suitable for use as a night light.
The lamp is not suitable for dimmers
or electronic switches.
To disconnect the light completely from the
power supply, the mains plug must be discon-
nected from the mains socket.

Carefully remove the protective film from
the lampshade

Unscrew the threaded ring

clockwise.
Lift the lamp shade

off the socket

Place the lamp shade

onto the socket

Tighten the threaded ring

Use a clean, lint-free cloth to insert the lamp

Screw the lamp

Your light is now ready to use.
Operation
Using the lamp
Unwind the mains cable

Turn the light on and off with the ON / OFF

Replacing a bulb

Unplug the mains plug

Allow the lamp to cool down for 15 minutes
before replacing.
Turn the defective light bulb

Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are re-
placing a bulb.
Only use the light bulbs specified in the
chapter „Technical Data“.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning, always pull out the mains plug

out of the socket.
Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like
as they could damage the lamp.
For electrical safety reasons, never clean the
lamp with water or other fluids or immerse it in
water.
Only clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.
The lamp is maintenance-free.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibre-
board / 80–98: composite materials.
