To prevent hazards, if the external flexible lead
on this lamp is damaged, it must only be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service representative
or an equally qualified professional.
Before use, verify that the available mains volt-
age corresponds to the required operating volt-
age of the light (see “Technical data”).
Remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker
(0 setting) in the fuse box prior to installation.
Do not install the lamp on a wet or conductive
surface.
Only insert the light bulb in a dry
environment.
This light is not suitable for external
dimmers or electronic switches.
For your safety
Always be alert! Always pay attention to what
you are doing and use common sense.
Do not cover the lamp with objects. Excessive
heat build-up can result in fire.
Do not look into the light bulb from a close
distance during operation.
Do not use optical instruments to look at the
light source.
To disconnect the light from the power supply,
remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker
(0 setting) in the fuse box prior to installation.
Only use the light bulbs specified in the chap-
ter “Technical data”.
Preparation
Required tools and materials
The specified tools and materials are not included.
The information and values specified are non-bind-
ing and are only provided as a reference. The na-
ture of the material is determined by the specific
local conditions.
- Pencil / marking tool
- 2-pole voltage tester
- Screwdriver
- Power drill
- Drill bit (approx. Ø 6 mm)
- Side cutters
- Ladder
Prior to installation
Important:
The electrical connection must be
established by a qualified electrician or a person
trained to perform electrical installations. This per-
son must be familiar with the properties of the light
and the connection requirements.
Familiarise yourself with all the instructions and
diagrams in this manual, as well as with the light
itself, before you install it.
Before installation, ensure that the circuit to which
the light will be connected is not energised. To
do this, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit
breaker in the fuse box (0 setting) (see Fig. A).
Check that the power is off using a 2-pole
circuit tester.

Remove all packaging material from the
product.
Important:
The lamp can only be installed in
a particular position. Please use the “Up” marking
on the lamp as a guide when installing it.

Use the slotted holes on the connection box

as a guide to mark
the drilling holes (see Fig. C).
Now drill the mounting holes (approx. Ø 6 mm,
depth approx. 40 mm). Be sure not to damage
the mains connection cable.
