INSTALLATION (DFB30)

Refer to Figure 1 and the following instructions to install the
DFB30 basin:
 1.  Dig a hole for the Basin: 30” [76 cm] diameter and 10”

[25.5 cm] deep.

2.  Place Basin into hole and verify levelness. Check with

36” level across top rim of basin, checking both left to
right and front to back.

3.   If not level, remove Basin and gradually add sand to

areas of hole that need to be raised. Repeat until you
have achieved a level condition.

4.  Back-fill with soil all-around the outer perimeter of Basin.
5.  Place the Center Support into the Basin, centering it

between the 4 “bumps” molded into Basin floor.

6.  Place pump into Basin.
7.  Determine the length of tubing required to run from your

pump (on floor of basin), through opening in Center
Support, and up to your fountain.

8.  Cut tubing to length, connect one end to pump

discharge fitting. Route through opening in Center
Support, and leave fountain-end disconnected.

9.   Install the Top Plate, ensuring orientation of 6” access

hole is over the pump. This will allow easy access to
pump for maintenance.

10. Cover the access hole in Top Plate with provided 6”

diameter access cover, routing the pump’s power cord
through open notch of access cover.

11. To complete the installation, please follow the

instructions  provided    with the water feature & pump
you purchased.
