Fork installation

Supplied with the frame are all headset components required for a tapered
steerer fork (bottom 1.5”, top 1 1/8”). First, install the lower (larger) slotted ring

onto the fork’s steerer tube. It should be flush against the top surface of the

fork crown. Now slide the fork into the frame. Then, install the upper (smaller)
slotted 1 1/8th ring onto the steerer tube from the top and install the black
headset cover plate.

Note: the reduction kit for 1 1/8th steerer forks can be ordered separately (item number: 114593). This will
create a different assembly process for the lower half of the headset. When using 1 1/8th forks, the lower
reduction ring (grease lightly) needs to be placed between the lower headset cone and the lower headset
bearing.

The assembly of the upper headset half remains the same.

Note: When combining the Syntace MegaSpacer with a Liteville 601
a silver 0.6mm washer is required between the SuperSpin headset and the MegaSpacer. This spacer is inclu-
ded with the MegaSpacer set (from 06.2013 onwards) or can be ordered separately from Syntace.
