Factory Defaults
The
Factory Defaults
screen allows you to restore the Router’s configuration to its factory default settings.
Restore Factory Defaults. To clear all of the Router’s settings and reset them to its factory defaults, click the
Yes
radio button.
When finished making your changes on this tab, click the
Save Settings
button to save these changes, or click
the
Cancel
Changes
button to undo your changes.
Firmware Upgrade
The
Firmware Upgrade
screen allows you to upgrade the Router’s firmware.
Before upgrading the firmware, download the Router’s firmware upgrade file from the Linksys website,
www.linksys.com
. Then extract the file.
File Path
. In the field provided, enter the name of the extracted firmware upgrade file, or click the
Browse
button
to find this file.
Upgrade
. After you have selected the appropriate file, click the
Upgrade
button (located at the bottom of the
screen), and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:
If you upgrade the Router’s firmware, you may lose its configuration settings.
Note:
Do not restore the factory defaults unless you are having difficulties
with the Router and have exhausted all other troubleshooting measures. Once
the Router is reset, you will have to re-enter all of your configuration settings.
