The Front Panel
Broadband Firewall Router with 4-Port Switch/VPN Endpoint
The Front Panel
The Router’s LEDs, which inform you about network activities, are located on the front panel.
Power
Green. The
Power
LED lights up when the Router is powered on. If the LED is flashing, the
Router is running a diagnostic test.
DMZ
Green. The
DMZ
LED indicates when the DMZ function is being used. This LED will remain lit
as long as DMZ is enabled.
Ethernet
Green. The
Ethernet
LED serves two purposes. If the LED is continuously lit, the Router is
connected to a device through the corresponding port (1, 2, 3, or 4). If the LED is flashing, the
Router is actively sending or receiving data over that port.
Internet
Green. The
Internet
LED lights up when the Router is connected to your cable or DSL modem.
