Tester (+) lead

Tester negative (-) lead

Check for voltage (12V) on the lead at 
bulb socket connectors 
 
 
 
 
This circuit is not faulty 
Replace the bulb. 
If the light is LED,replace the light directly

Connect  the  pocket  tester  (DC20V)  to 

the taillight couplers
