Chapter 1-1 System Requirements
LILIN’s IP PTZ Cameras H.264 video compression technology can provide high compression rate and
superior video quality. However, video performance highly depends on both CPU computational
power of a client PC and the network bandwidth for video streaming. The following sections specify
the software requirements for using the H.264 LILIN IP PTZ Cameras.
Chapter 1-2 Software Requirements
Merit LILIN Universal ActiveX software components or QuickTime are required for a web browser to
display MJPEG or H.264 video. When you first log in to our IP camera, you may see a prompt box as
below:
Click Install and follow the onscreen instructions to install necessary components.
