For more information on warrantied NanoCount operation, or if you
have specific requests for test applications on your NanoCount unit,
please contact the Engineering Department at 1-510-438-0500.
To start using the instrument, proceed as follows:
1. Position the instrument in the environment to be measured.
2. Attach instruments to sample lines as outlined in Chapter 3 .
3. Attach instrument to AC power.
4. Set the power switch on the rear panel to ON.
5. While booting, the unit displays a startup screen.
6. The MAIN screen displays as shown in Figure 5-1.

7. Use the instrument Flow Adjustment knob to adjust the flow to 80
ml/min.
8. All instrument functions are controlled through MODBUS - there is
no Start/Stop button available on the touch screen. “Programming
with MODBUS Protocol” on page 6-1 provides details on the use
of MODBUS.
