1. Remove the cylinder from the Mast as described in

2. Make sure disassembly area, tools, and cylinder are clean before dissembling. This will help reduce the amount of
contaminants that may enter into the system during seal installa

on. To hold cylinder during disassembly use a so

vise, or some other

xturing method that will not mar/damage the cylinder.
3. Unscrew retainer from shell (approx. 200-220
Ō
-lbs torque required). Leave it on the rod.
4. Remove

re rod assembly from cylinder, making sure not to damage or scratch the chrome.
5. Unscrew rod end from rod (approx. 115-135
Ō
6-lbs torque required).
