It will allow you to make a Full Channel Scan and naming
your favorite channels.
•
Std Scan
(Standard Scan)
- Same function as Scan Show button without
multi-windows display.
•
Ext Scan
(Extended Scan)
- Use this function if some channels in your area are
not detected by using
Scan Show button (it will
takes about 10 minutes to make a full frequency
scan). The channel number will assign in order from
CH1, CH2, CH3…
•
Name Default
-
To clear all previous channel naming.
To naming channels:
1. Tune in to your desired channel by press number buttons
2. Type in the name (CNN, ESPN, Discovery…) in the white
blank and click on
Set button.
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 to make another channel naming.
4. Click on
OK button to finish setting.
Note:
If you have not completed a Standard scan, the channel
up/down buttons will simply increment by one through each
channel instead of skipping to the next valid channel.
It is not necessary to do a full channel scan upon first use of
FlyVideo’98. The channel up/down button will step through
each channel even if there is no signal.
User need to scan through all the available channels at the
first time of use, otherwise, the “
Up/Down Channel ”
function will step into each channel even there is no program.
