7  Setting Up the Trackit M

7�1 

Before You Begin

Before beginning the setup process, read this manual thoroughly.
Check that all components from the parts list in section 7.2 are included. If any components are damaged, do not use 

them and contact Customer Support for replacement. Arrange the system components observing safety requirements 

specified in this manual.

Do not open the Trackit M casings if they are connected to the power supply unit due to risk of electric 

shock. Only Lifelines Neuro personnel should service the unit.

The operator should ensure that the Trackit M Main Unit is setup outside of the patient environment, so 

as to prevent the patient from touching the main unit. Failure to do so may result in risk of electric shock 

and decreased noise performance.

There are no parts internal to the Trackit M that should be maintained by the user.

The Trackit M, accessories and peripherals can be connected in different ways depending on the goals of the EEG 

investigation. Typical system connection diagrams are shown in this manual.
