Deixe uma distância de 41 cm (16 in) entre a parte mais larga da bicicleta e qualquer outro objeto em qualquer um dos lados. Deixe
uma distância de 0,9 m (3 ft) entre a parte dianteira ou traseira da bicicleta e qualquer outro objeto.

STABILIZAR A BICICLETA DE EXERCÍCIO

Depois de colocar a bicicleta no local desejado, verifique a estabilidade do
equipamento tentando balançá-lo de lado a lado. Qualquer ligeira oscilação
indica que o equipamento deve ser nivelado. Determine qual dos pés não
está completamente apoiado no chão. Desaperte a contraporca (A) com
uma chave de boca de 17 mm e gire o pé estabilizador (B) para abaixá-lo.
Verifique se a bicicleta está estável e repita o ajuste, conforme for
necessário, até o equipamento parar de balançar. Trave o ajuste apertando
a contraporca contra a barra estabilizadora.
Nota:
Estabilize a bicicleta cada vez que a unidade for transferida.

Um assento ajustado adequadamente é extremamente importante em
qualquer atividade com a bicicleta e a Bicicleta de exercício reclinada
Lifecycle não é exceção. Se o assento estiver muito baixo, uma
tensão excessiva será colocada nos joelhos e músculos quadríceps;
se estiver muito alto, a ação de extensão resultante irritará os pés,
tornozelos, quadris e joelhos.
Sente no assento e apoie as costas contra o suporte para as costas e
coloque as pontas dos pés nos pedais e coloque os pés nos pedais. A
posição ideal permitirá o movimento na parte inferior do curso sem
travar os joelhos ou mudar de posição no assento. Os joelhos devem
ter uma leve curvatura no ponto de extensão máximo da perna.
Se o assento precisar de ajuste, levante a alavanca de ajuste acionada
por mola (C), que está localizada no lado dianteiro direito do assento.
Deslize o assento para frente ou para trás, conforme for necessário, até
a posição adequada e solte o pino para completar o engate. Deslize
suavemente o assento para frente e para trás uma distância pequena
para verificar se está travado. Verifique a altura do assento outra vez e
reajuste-a, se for necessário.
CUIDADO:
Não tente ajustar o assento enquanto estiver pedalando a bicicleta. Se o fizer ou se não introduzir o pino do
assento completamente pode causar desconforto ou lesões físicas.
