HOW TO… REPLACE THE UPPER BELT
Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, 13mm socket, ½” socket, extension, ½” open-end wrench, ratchet
Estimated repair time: 30 minutes
1. Remove the main shroud assembly (see “How
To...” on page 86).
2. Remove the lower track cover (see “How To...”
on page 87).
3. Scribe the position of the tension bracket
before loosening the mounting bolts and
tensioning bolt.
4. Loosen the three tension bracket mounting
bolts.
5. Loosen the tensioning bolt until the tension
bracket is as loose as possible.
6. IMPORTANT: Clamp or secure the pedals before
continuing. One of the pedals will drop suddenly
once the upper belt has been disconnected from
the pedal truck assembly.
