SMART-DIAGNOSIS MODE

HOM-BOT 2.0 can self-diagnose to determine its current status using smart diagnosis mode. If a problem

is found after the self-diagnosis, please contact LG Electronics service center

※

HOM-BOT 2.0 moves forward about 50

cm

when smart diagnosis function is operated. Please clear out

stuff around home station within 1

m

in order to not disturb the HOM-BOT 2.0.

1. Please turn on the main power switch on the bottom of the

HOM-BOT 2.0 and attach to home station.

※

Smart diagnosis function is operable only when HOM-BOT 2.0

is attached to home station

2. If smart diagnosis button is pressed for 3 seconds on the

HOM-BOT 2.0, smart diagnosis function will be started with a voice

message saying “HOM-BOT 2.0 smart diagnosis will be started. Please
step away and clear out stuff around home station within 1

m

”

※

Smart diagnosis function will not be operated by pressing the charge

button on the remote controller.

※

Smart diagnosis mode will not be operated with mop plate being

attached.

3. If smart diagnosis is successfully complete, HOM-BOT 2.0

returns to the home station and informs the result of the

diagnosis in voice message. The voice message can be heard

again if smart diagnosis button is pressed after the first voice

message. When stop button is pressed, the smart diagnosis

will stop.

※

HOM-BOT 2.0 returns to the charging mode if no action is

made for 1 minute after the voice message.

※

HOM-BOT 2.0 will terminate smart diagnosis function,

not returning to the home station if a problem is found in

obstacle detecting sensor, ultrasonic sensor and Cliff detection sensor.

• Please be careful not to touch or disturb HOM-BOT 2.0 until the smart diagnosis is

complete. If the HOM-BOT 2.0 is disturbed, you can turn off and on the main power switch

to restart the smart diagnosis function.

• Smart diagnosis function does not operate for the following cases below. Please check them

and try again.

- HOM-BOT 2.0 is away from the home station

- Battery is running low

- No dust bin exists

- Mop plate is attached

• Timer cleaning mode will be terminated if smart diagnosis starts. Please set up the timer

cleaning mode again when smart diagnosis is complete.
