2. Port-forwarding set-up
What is Port Forwarding? : It maps so that a certain port used on external internet and PC
from the internal router can communicate with each other, and is safer than DMZ.
※
If you want to remotely connect, you must set the Port Forwarding on your router device.
FTP : 20, 21, 55536~55538, Web(HTTP, HTTPS) : 8000, 443, Multimedia : 49815,
USB Camera : 9080~9082, IP Camera : 9070~9072
1. Check IP of the router
2. Log onto the router
3. Search for ‘PORT FORWARDING’ setting in the menu explorer and set as below.
Start > Click Run.
Enter cmd > Click ‘OK’.
Enter ‘ipconfig’ on the
command prompt.
Enter the IP in the address and log onto the
router
(Refer to the manual of the router when
logging in with ID/Password)
The numbers in Default Gateway
are the IP for the router.

The layout and terms may differ by router.
A
IP Address : Input the Network Storage IP address for service.
Click ‘Save Settings’ button.
Ports to Open : Input the port number for each service.
