CONNE CTING THE CABLE
BETWEEN INDOOR & OUTDOOR UNIT
Connec t the cable to the
outdoor unit

Remov e the control cov er fr om the unit by
loosening the screw .
Connect the wir es to the t erminals on the
control boar d individually.

Secure the cable ont o the control boar d with
the cord clamp .
C
Refix the contr ol cover t o the original
position with the scr ew.
D
Use a recogniz ed circuit br eaker 20A ( 12K,18K),
25A (24K , 2 6K) betw een the power sour ce
and the unit. A disconnecting device t o
adequately disconnect all supply lines must
be fitt ed.
After the confirmation of the above conditions, prepare the wiring as follows:
Never fail to have an individual power circuit specifically for the air conditioner. A s for
the method of wiring, be guided by the cir cuit diagr am post ed on the inside of contr ol
cover .
The scr ew which fast en the wiring in the casing of electrical fittings ar e liable to come
loose from vibr ations to which the unit is subject ed during the course of
transportation. Check them and make sur e that they ar e all tightly fast ened. (If they
are loose, it could cause burn-out of the wires. )
Specification of power source.
Confirm that electrical capabilit y is sufficient.
See to that the starting voltage is maintained at mor e than 90 per cent of the rat ed
voltage marked on the name plate.
Confirm that the cable thickness is as specified in the power source specification.
(Particularly not e the relation betw een cable length and thickness. (R efer to page 11))
Always install an earth leakage circuit breaker in a w et or moist ar ea.
The following w ould be caused by v oltage dr op.
The means f or disconnection fr om a power supply shall be incorpor ated in the fix ed
wiring and have an air gap contact separation of at least 3mm in each active(phase )
conductors.
Vibration of a magnetic switch, which will damage the contact point, fuse breaking, disturbance of the
normal function of the overload.
